Despite the Womens 2nd XI having thier match prosponed due to poor weather conditions COB had three massive games ahead of them on this windy cold Saturday.
A massive 9 goal thriller for the Womens 1st IX at home this week against second from top Bromsgrive 3rd XI. This game was always going to be exciting with previous results in mind and there was plenty of action and highlights from this one. Most importantly, goals! With C.McDermid scoring two and L.Reeson scoring one. Unfortunately Bromsgrove saw victory, 6-3.
The Mens 1st XI were away this week to 4th in the league Stourport 3rd XI, the Mens XIs did go into this game with reduced numbers, but still pushed Strouport all the way, with A.Makepeace scoring for COB. Stourport did manage to get ahead and push through to the end to win 2-1 however. A brave effort from the mens XI team considering they only had 10 this week.
A fantastic result this week for the Mens 2nd XI who went into the game with only 9 players! Away to Old Wulfrunians 4th XI this game was going to be hard working, and testing throughout. With great determination, defending and passing the Mens 2nd XI scored twice, one from S.Brookes and another from N.Jarvis. Coming away with the 2-0 this was a proud moment for the team.
